Pattie Reitz

Pattie officially joined the Wives of Faith leadership team in January 2010 as our Blog Editor. However, she’s been with us almost since the beginning, helping in our first attempt at a message board, offering encouragement and support in letting others know about us and writing regularly for our blog and newsletter.

Pattie blames her dad for her love of words. She’s been reading and writing since childhood, and loves the smell of books. She used to save her allowance to buy books, and remembers coveting purple pens at the office supply store. All of this word-love led to her original career choice of English teacher, which she did for over ten years.

In addition to her work with Wives of Faith, Pattie reviews for the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance as well as for several publishers. She is also a member of American Christian Fiction Writers. Pattie also serves as a moderator on the Women at Home message board and helps with the writing community at Writers Remember.

She is the proud wife of an Air Force chaplain and mother of two girls. When she’s not playing on Facebook, she’s reading a book or writing about a book, working at Curves, or driving her daughters to dance class. She can be reached at pattie@wivesoffaith.org.

Shauna Irizarry

She currently leads the Rutherford County Wives of Faith group and also serves as our Prayer Ministry Leader, connecting women from all over the country who have stepped up to be prayer warriors for military wives.
