Joe Nichols has a new song called “Believers” that is coming out along with his new CD Oct. 27. His publicity folks contacted us to let us know about a new video he has on YouTube that shows some clips of a trip he took over to Iraq to visit our troops. Make sure you take a moment to scroll down the page and watch the video (currently up as our featured video on the front page of the web site), it will make you tear up!
Here’s the chorus:
Believers
Believers
They got a little more faith than the world has doubt
The earth might shake, but they stand their ground
And God only knows where we’d be without
Believers
As military wives and as Wives of Faith, we know what it means to be believers, don’t we?! Anyway, Joe Nichols’ “people” have graciously agreed to give us a couple of his CDs and some other goodies to give away to our Wives of Faith ladies when the album releases, so let’s do a little contest.
Watch the video and then do one of two things: either comment on this post and tell us why you’re a believer, OR make a 1 minute or less video of yourself telling why you’re a believer and email it to info@wivesoffaith.org. We’ll combine your videos to make one video response from Wives of Faith showing believers on the homefront!
At the end of October, we’ll pick a winner from the comments as well as a winner from the videos that are sent in for the goodies that the Nichols team is giving us.
Looking forward to seeing your comments and your video clips!
By the way, if you’d like to go ahead and check out the single, you can purchase it here from iTunes.

I am a believer; because through God all things are possible. As we are heading into ANOTHER deployment, this is my mantra.

I am a believer because God thinks I'm strong enough for this military life. I am facing so many unknowns right now as I near home coming and the military pay will stop (I'm a reserves wife) but I believe God will carry me though. My wonderful husband also helps me believe!

I am believer. And thankful to be. Those without Christ… where do they go for strength? Whom can they lean on if they don't have God? Man can not do for any of us what God can. Praise God for all He does. So thankful to be in the loving palm of His hand.

I'm a believer because God has asked me to STAND for my marriage. Being a military wife, now a retired military wife and going through work ups and deployments, death of family and friends, I'm enduring another trial of my husband walking out of our marriage. I know I can STAND because God is giving me the strength to STAND.

I'm a Believer because God has seen me through tough times and He is always there giving me strength. He has blessed me with a loving husband and is working in my husband's life, protecting him from harm.
