Blog Carnival Intros

Hey ladies! Our spring blog carnival, MilSpouses Rock!, starts on Saturday and to kick things off, if you already are planning on participating (and I hope you are!), please introduce yourself in the comments below and don’t forget to include a link to your blog! Start with your first name, military branch your husband’s in, and anything else you’d like to share, like what you enjoy blogging about, how long you’ve blogged, etc.

Also, please note the blog carnival schedule of topics and prizes I’ve posted in a sidebar. I’ve changed up a couple of the topics as I was assigning them so just in case you’re a planner, you may want to make a note of that. :)

Can’t wait to get started!

    Hi !!

I am looking forward to the blog carnival! I participated in the carnival in Dec. and really enjoyed "meeting" other mil wife bloggers. I think this is going to be GREAT!

    SO a little about me:

My name is Jessica. I am married to Jason who is in the Army Reserves. We are currently preparing for our 3rd deployment. We have been together 16 years and married for almost 9 of those. We have 2 children Jack (5 yrs) and Madi (3 yrs) I am a SAHM. I started blogging in 2008 when Jason left for deployment #2. I blog about lots of things: deployment, kids, recipes, decorating …whatever topic pops in my head that day. =)

    Our blog is : http://www.just4crows.blogspot.com

looking forward to reading more blogs !

I have been blogging for years now, but I recently got more serious about it switched to blogger, it will be about one year that I have been on blogger and really going at blogging! I talk about military life, God, books, and my pregnancy!<a title="" href="http://singing-in-the-rain24.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow"&gt <a href="http://;http://singing-in-the-rain24.blogspot.com/” target=”_blank”>;http://singing-in-the-rain24.blogspot.com/

I'm Pattie…I've been blogging for about six years or so. I love to blog! It's a great deal of fun. I've actually started a new blog, so I'll be blogging from there for the carnival to see how it flies! http://pattiethechaplainswife.blogspot.com

Diving right in to blog carnival #2! I'm Stephanie and have been blogging for maybe two-ish years. My husband is in the Army National Guard and we just finished up our first deployment together last August. It's sooo good to have him home! This deployment allowed me to realize the importance of our Reserve men and women and their spouses. I didn't really give myself the credit that was due for being the wife of a soldier! I blog about my Captain, our daughter and the daily comings and goings of our lives. We are due with a sweet son this July…and you better believe I will be blogging about that:) I can't wait to read all of your blogs!

  5. avatar Jenny says:

My name is Jenny and my husband is Active Duty Army, deployed to Iraq since August 2009. God has been really gracious to us, however, and Nick is coming home early as part of the "responsible drawdown" of forces! He'll be home early this summer. We've been married almost 15 months and this is our first deployment, though he also spent a year in Korea. May 4th marks his four year mark, and his contract ends in October. This will be my first blog carnival, though I've blogged on and off for a few years now. I'm excited to see what God does with it! http://jennyspecht.wordpress.com/

I'm participating! I used the blog prompts as rewards and distractions from my homework the last few days.My name is Jenny and my husband Nick (Army) and I have been married for a little over a year. He's been in Iraq since August, but is coming home soon thanks to the responsible drawn down of forces. So glad God is pouring out His blessings this way :-) We don't have any kids of our own, but we do have two beautiful god-daughters. I'm a junior undergrad, plugging away at a degree in Sociology/Anthropology. Here in Minnesota, my only contact with the military world is via the internet and, occasionally, the ROTC cadets on campus. All 13 of them. Needless to say… I miss the support and am excited to get back to a military base in one more month!

Well, hello! Day of the beginning and I'm already late! I'm Ebony, my hubs belongs to the Air Force. We are currently doing our best to live righteously in Sin City, where the Lord has us for who knows what. I guess we'll find out eventually! I a mom of 3 kids and cook, clean, write and daydream – but not all in that order :D Looking forward to reading new blogs and stories and stuff!

  11. avatar Aimee says:

Hello! My name is Aimee, and I apologize for starting in the middle of the blog carnival! I've only been blogging about 6 months, but I love it. My hubs is in the Army, we have one daughter and a lovely dog! We're coming up on our 7th move, and through all of our ups and downs we have really been blessed! I have many interests, but right now am a SAHM waiting to get back into the world of EMS, providing the Lord sees fit to make that happen. I love reading new blogs and appreciate anyone who takes the time to read mine.

  12. I am loving this already! I started yesterday and just found out today that there are even prizes involved. What a fun bonus. :) My name is Chrysanthemama (not really, but that's what I go by). I have been an AF spouse for 10 years. We've lived in 5 (soon to be 6) states since my husband joined 12 years ago. We have three wonderful and adorable children who I get to stay home with. We've had many ups and downs, but God has seen us through it all. I really wish I would have found this site sooner! I can't wait to "meet" you all. Have a great day!

  13. avatar Kassandra says:

I didn't find this site until yesterday through another Military Spouses blog. I am very new to blogging, haven't been at it for more than a month or so, but getting the hang of what I really want to blog about. My name is Kassandra. I am retired ARNG, and my husband is in the Army. In 4 years we have only been stationed at 2 posts, both in the same state. I like to blog about staying fit and active, recipes I like to cook whether they are healthy, something my kids like, or both, and coupons/freebies I have found. I am still honing into what exactly I will blog about on a regular basis, but for now that is what I have blogged about. I hope to meet some new bloggers through this, and it will be nice to have a few new contacts, esp. those with Faith in God :) My blog is http://www.financiallyfitmommy.blogspot.com
