The beauty of these Case Lot Sales is that you show up with your id and you can buy in bulk, get great savings AND TAX-FREE! So if you're nowhere near a military commissary, definitely consider going to one of these!

Just as an aside…while commissaries are sales tax-free, there is a surcharge of 5% levied by the commissary, and that money is used for commissary construction, equipment and maintenance.Also, for you NG or Res wives who don't normally frequent the commissary, it's customary to tip your baggers, who will take your groceries to the car and load them in the car for you. Tipping levels vary, depending on how much you purchase and whom you ask
