Once again I would like to introduce you to a few mil-wife blogs. Be sure to stop by and say hello!
To be honest, I passed by Blonde Chick 25 a couple months ago, because her Xanga blog was protected, and her other blog had not been updated in a while. I thought I might have missed her. However, when I stopped by again this month, I found out this proud Marine wife is expecting! Congratulations!
Here is a nice tidbit from a recent post:
Fleas. Well, kitten wonder has got ‘em. And man are they hard to get rid of. I feel so bad for her. . . . She has slept most of today away and cuddled nonstop since her bath and I’ve still seen a few fleas floating around in her fur! I’ve picked off 4-5 today, next step is the flea comb just bought at Kmart then a few days of waiting to see if all our measures have worked. If not it’s to the vet for something a little more pricy…ughh!
It just reminds me of life and no matter how hard we work to rid ourselves of pests (bad situations, habits, sins…) it is hard to fully cleanse yourself and sometimes it take a few measures and wears us down. Thank goodness we have a father in heaven who is willing to pick off all those fleas for us so that we may be cleansed.
Shannon blogs over at Fort Cox and has some lovely photos of her family there. Shannon is a proud Air Force wife and enthusiastic photographer and blogger. I highly recommend you check her blog out for all the snapshots. They’re great!
Expectant military mommies must be en vogue, because the next link I clicked on took me to Stephanie at Nested and Invested. Guess what? This Marine wife is also expecting a baby! Congratulations, Stephanie! She’s been busy with her master’s degree and her husband is on his third deployment, so be sure to keep her in your prayers.
As always, be sure to stop by this post if you’d like your blog to be spotlighted. It will take a while, but on the plus side, I’ve got blog-spotlight fodder for all of 2010!
