Don’t Forget to Pray
We are more than a week into our “This is the Day to Pray” 100-day prayer campaign. If you are part of a family getting ready for a deployment, this morning’s prayer was for you!
“Lord, watch over the military families today who are preparing for new deployments. Give them courage and Your peace during this time. Amen.”
We have had quite a few join us for this important campaign, and several who are not part of a military community but want to join in prayer for us. Isn’t that cool? Please tell your friends, Sunday school classes, and churches about what we’re doing. We want as many people praying for our military, our military families and our country as possible.
I’ve appreciated the emails and messages I’ve gotten in recent days from military spouses who have said, “Sara, the prayers are working!” I’m not completely sure what they mean, but I hope that they’re seeing God work in awesome ways in their own lives. God works everything for our good, though sometimes we don’t always understand. But I know that when we spend time in prayer, in daily communication with our Heavenly Father, that our relationship with Him grows and no matter what happens, we know He is there to comfort and guide us.
Have a wonderful Saturday!
