I’m so busy, I…

…banged my head on the car door frame.

Hard.

I didn’t see stars, but my forehead stings and I have a monster headache headed my way. Pun intended.

I was in such a hurry, I didn’t even look where I was going!

How about you? What dumb stuff have you done when you were in a hurry or too busy?

Oh, I hope you feel better! I do the same thing – I'm really bad at running into the corner of walls because I'm in a hurry and not paying attention! I get the bruises to show for it, usually on my leg or my arm and I always feel so silly. I mean it's not like the wall jumped out in front of me… at least it's not a very good excuse. :)

Oh, I've done that…and yeah…people laugh at me and I feel so silly.  I work as a receptionist and it's very easy to get too busy or be easily distracted. I've charged clients too much or not enough where I work as a receptionist as well as other things.  My coworkers, and I just laugh and mend our mistakes (we all do them).  Most of the time, it's just pretty funny. :)

I tend to bust things when I hurry too much. Last year I broke my hand tripping while going into the house (darn threshold and flip flops) and broke my hand on the doorknob. I wished I had broken the doorknob instead and could of had Military Housing fix it instead of driving myself to the hospital for a cast.

I run into everything. Spill tons of things. And tend to trip over things that don't seem to exist, like a bump in the carpet! I also have sliced open my fingers more times than I can count with knives and scissors…at least I've only had stitches once for an ugly knife wound!

Whenever my 6-year-old niece is around, she has taken to saying, "Oooooohhhhh Klutzy Jolene!" because it's always something! I may not even be in a hurry when it happens. I'm just a klutz!
