Well put! Well said! Well written!

Faith is THE bigger part of the picture as a military spouse. Isn't it interesting how we combat on the homefront the justification for our husbands to be in the military and to be where they are when duty calls?

The USA is blessed with this military, and for many many years military spouses have endured the hardships (perhaps more so than their spouses) alongside their mate. Today's issues are questionable when an employer will not hire someone with a military commitment just because they may be called to duty. That is unpatriotic even in this capitalistic society of ours.

The enemy is working hard to dispell us especially at our weakest time...deployment/separation from loved ones. To field questions from folks in our country regarding why do it or why be in the military or is it worth it makes me wonder where their faith is and why aren't they more patriotic & more supportive of military spouses/families.

Summoning our courage to stand the test of faith during these times is a calling worthy to take even if it means judgement, even if it means financial challenges, and even if it means distress in any form in our life. We have the ultimate backer of all, and though we stand alone, we are never alone (I am constantly telling myself this even though I feel so alone). God is with us, and he sent his only begotten son to save us. How awesome is that!

As wives of faith, let us us keep the faith and pray for HIS understanding.
