Wives of Faith Nashville Chapter
Started by Sara Horn at the People’s Church of Franklin in 2007, this Wives of Faith Nashville TN Area Chapter continues to date. The chapter has hosted a past Wives of Faith Regional conference and has evolved from meeting at Forest Hills Baptist Church, Covenant Presbyterian Church, Thompson Station Baptist Church and even the local Starbucks in Hermitage TN to a chapter that is rich with history and perseverance. The chapter has studied various Bible studies such as God Strong by Sara Horn and Tour of Duty. This chapter hosts a Facebook page where local military wives can connect, encourage and support one another. Also, this chapter is a sister chapter to the Rutherford County Wives of Faith Chapter. There is a Fisher House coming to Murfreesboro TN and is one of future volunteer opportunity for chapter members. Any military wife living in the Nashville TN area is welcomed to join the chapter.
Welcome to our new Chapter Leader, Dina Henry. She and her Army Guardsman, Jason, have been married for 11 years and have three children. She has experienced one deployment. Her husband works in the medical area and is a traditional Guardsman out of Smyrna. They attend Life Assembly Church in Mt Juliet TN. Dina’s favorite Bible Verse is Isaiah 40:31. She loves to cook, bake, scrapbook, sew and/or do anything crafty and is a natural working with special needs children locally. Dina is glad to have found Wives of Faith and loves the wonderful support and encouragement from the group. Dina is grateful that there are other Christian military wives out there like her and is why she is thrilled to be our new Chapter Leader.
