I’ve been reading a lot of inspirational or Christian fiction recently. One author I’ve enjoyed reading this year has been Cheryl Wyatt, who writes romances for Steeple Hill (Harlequin) about Air Force pararescue jumpers (or PJs). Another writer I’ve enjoyed in recent years has been Dee Henderson, who wrote a four-book “Uncommon Heroes” series.
I’m sure there are other authors besides the few I’ve mentioned. Do you like reading military-themed books? If so, who are your favorite authors? I think it might be fun for me to pursue this for our Wives of Faith community. If you’re like I was when we first entered the military reserves, I had NO CLUE about the military. Well-written and well-researched fiction can be extremely helpful and educational.
Leave me a comment! I’d love to hear from you.

THANK YOU so much for mentioning my books in your post! And what a huge honor to be listed in the same paragraph as The Dee! I LOVE HER STUFF! She's my favorite author. I hope you enjoy the rest of the Wings of Refuge series as well. They'll release in 2009 from Steeple Hill Love Inspired. Great post. Thank you for providing support for wives of those who serve…and wives who serve. What a fabulous ministry. God's best to you.Hugs,Cheryl Wyatt

Pattie, that sounds a little familiar…the Love Inspired part. I remember something about loving a little sample book I received in the mail, but never went and bought the whole book. I haven't ever taken up reading military-themed books, however I'd be completely interested in whatever you may pursue! I'm always looking to dive into a page-turner, and it would be extra special to have that military connection to the story. Thanks for getting me thinking!
