My Funniest Christmas Memory
Can you believe only one more week until Christmas?! How are you enjoying the carnival so far? Today we are talking about favorite Christmas memories… either from your childhood or more recently, what’s one that you hold near and dear to your heart? Feel free to post a picture too!
And now to the good stuff..
Today’s Giveaway is yet another $10 Gift Card from LifeWay Christian Stores (don’t they rock for giving us TWELVE to give away!?) and a Rest and Relax Reading Pack from Zondervan Publishing which includes Found Art by Navy seal wife Leanna Tankersley (I have this book – it’s great!); Shades of Blue by Karen Kingsbury; Daisy Chain and A Slow Burn by Mary DeMuth, and Cold Tangerines by Shauna Niequist.
And more about our sponsors:
LifeWay Christian Stores wants to thank all military families for their courage, sacrifice and commitment on behalf of so many others. Merry Christmas to Wives of Faith and military wives everywhere. Visit LifeWay Christian Stores at a location near you or online at www.lifewaystores.com.
Zondervan is one of today’s leading Christian publishers, whose author list includes Rick Warren, Robin Lee Hatcher, Mary DeMuth and Wives of Faith founder Sara Horn. Zondervan’s mission is to be the leader in Christian communications meeting the needs of people with resources that glorify Jesus Christ and promote biblical principles. Visit their website at www.zondervan.com.
And in case you’re just joining us, to be eligible for today’s drawing, you need to do two things: 1) link back to this post. 2) Post a link to your post in the comments section below. Anyone can comment but only those participating in the blog carnival are eligible for the drawing.
VERY IMPORTANT: The winner will be announced today at 6 p.m. CST. You have two days to send me your contact info (sara@wivesoffaith.org) so we can mail you your prize. Be sure to include your email address in your comment if you’re not sure you’ll be checking back. Otherwise, if I don’t hear from you, we will pick another winner.

Well I wasn’t going to post today, because I couldn’t think of anything… but then something came to mind. It is very interesting because it is about: Black Olives!
I’m finally posting today but still can’t figure out how to show this blog on mine … I’m still a newbie … help!
Hopefully my Mom and aunt will find this memory funny too … let’s just say now I know how Rudolph got his red nose. LOL

Hey Tammy, so sorry you were having trouble! A couple of other ladies have had issues with the spam label too, not sure why or I would definitely fix it if I could! Glad you’re doing the carnival with us!
Thanks, Sara, phew! Now if I can just figure out how to get the holiday blog info on my page! Ahh, the wonders of technology!
Hmmm… I think you’re using Blogger, right? If you copy the code that’s on the Wives of Faith site underneath the image in the sidebar, you should be able to paste it into a “text” or “rich text” box or something like that and it should show up.

Here’s mine. I scheduled it to post this morning but then I had to go back and add the link to it. Is there any way I can add the link automatically? or do I have to wait until it posts?
Hmmm… I don’t think so. The post on this site won’t show up until 6 a.m. (in some time zone, I still don’t think it’s set at CST
) so I think you’ll still need to come add the link. Sorry!!
Thanks though
