I have worked at the camps for 2 years and my daughter has attended them as well! They are so much fun and a great way to relieve some stress for the children and a great way to give back for me! The first night at my first camp I was awakened by the sound of a little girl crying. I got up and asked her if she was sick or needed me. She said through tears that she was not sick, but could I sit with her until she went to sleep. I sat on the edge of her bed. She sniffed and whimpered and said she just wanted to go home and her Daddy to be there. It was an awesome opportunity to minister to this little broken heart. She finally dozed off and slept til breakfast. She woke up the next day and was wide open the rest of the time! She had a great time and I was blessed by her resilience!
