Sense of Community

Author: I am a retired military wife. I have been honored to be a friend of Sara’s for a few years now. I love her passion and her zeal for the Wives of Faith organization. She is a true warrior for the cause of military wives and their support and encouragement along the way.
I am coming on board as a community outreach member. One of the reasons I feel a great purpose in this is what I have experienced in the past few years. Many of the civilian churches and organizations need a learning curve as far as the military community is concerned. When they understand the need and what is going on in times of deployment and separation, or even when a new military family has moved into the community, they are blessed to reach out to these families.
My heart’s desire is to stimulate the community and retired military wives to join in as mentors to be available as prayer partners and encouragers. It is a great joy to serve from the outside in.
