One of the greatest ways a military wife can help herself is by helping others. When you take a step to reach out to other wives who are experiencing many of the same emotions you are, there is something special that happens. Connection. Encouragement. Support. Spiritual growth. Inspiration to keep going. All of these can happen when a military wife decides to start a local chapter of Wives of Faith.
However, it takes more than just the notion of starting a group. We are looking for women who are passionate about serving, who feel called by God in this season of life to help lead and who are motivated to do the work required to network and organize a new group.
Applicants are highly encouraged to 1) be married to their service member for at least 2 years and 2) be a Wives of Faith member for at least 6 months (To join WoF, go to http://www.wivesoffaith.org/members). The application process includes being evaluated by a Selection Committee and the Board of Directors. You can fill out the application, located immediately below.
